Located in the heart of the historic center, this hotel is adjacent to all the major attractions and shopping areas. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with luxurious amenities that exceed expectations. The bathrooms are equipped with both a bathtub and a shower, providing ultimate comfort. The service is top-notch, with staff being accommodating and efficient. The hotel offers a variety of facilities, including elegant restaurants and a cozy bar area. The breakfast is delicious and satisfying, with a wide selection of options to choose from. Guests can also enjoy breathtaking views of the city.

The waitstaff at the cafe and breakfast area could use better training and efficiency.

Emblematic hotel, in the center of Vienna. Comfortable room.

Undifferentiated service. Those little details that make the hotel go down in perceived quality. When we arrived there was no one willing to pick up the suitcases, when we entered the hotel someone came, but too late. We asked for two more pillows that didn't arrive until the next day, after asking for them again.

We had an incredible stay at Sacher Wien. The location is unbeatable, allowing us to truly immerse ourselves in the beauty of Vienna. The classic upscale ambiance of the hotel perfectly captured the essence of the city. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and comfort were top-notch, making our stay truly memorable. We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful gesture of providing water bottles, excellent chocolates, and prunes every day. The only thing we missed was a coffee machine in the room. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly authentic Viennese experience.

    Everything, really is excellent

Perhaps it would be good if at breakfast people who have nothing to do at the time would determine, were not looking. You feel watched and observed at all times. But it is a small detail of a magnificent service and a really excellent Hofel.

Luxuriously appointed, this venue had all the exclusive amenities we could ask for. The spa was wonderful, and we enjoyed the sauna, massages, and Turkish bath. The restaurant offered a delicious continental breakfast, and in-room breakfast service was also available. We loved the bar and lounge area, and the coffee and tea in the lobby was a nice touch. The location was perfect, and we appreciated the private facilities.

There was one minor issue we encountered during our stay. Some of the staff seemed pretentious, which was a disappointment.

The place is mythical and superb, and from this point of view in line with expectations. The blue bar is a pure dream. On the other hand, in a particular context it is true, the service received was deplorable, and unworthy of a 5 star...!!! (except for a charming girl at the reception, but not very efficient).

I arrived on April 6, for less than 24 hours, leaving on April 7 by plane. On my arrival I was told that the Vienna Marathon the next day would block the whole city, and that it would be impossible for me to reach the airport. 1/I would have liked to be warned by the hotel before arriving ! : if I booke a 5 stars, it's to have a service. 2/ I asked what was the solution : walk with my suitcase, take the metro, then change somewhere to take the train. 3/ Not knowing Vienna, I asked that someone accompany me to the train to the airport. The concierge calls me back and asks me 200€ for this service ! (it took about 10mn). Scandalous. Finally a professional contact helped me the next day... 4/ Otherwise, a lamentable doorman, indifferent to everything: doesn't take my suitcase, unable to order a taxi (so 25 mn walk to go to the concert...!!) etc... VERY VERY DECEIVING... I travel all the time, I've never seen such a bad service. I was expecting something else from the Sacher.

ideal location, hotel owes everything to its facilities and building that houses it, which, it is true, are absolutely flawless. rooms are luxurious and functional, decorated with great class, well equipped, combining modernity and period furniture. restaurant grune bar was a great experience with an attentive staff. breakfast is diversified and complete even if not exceptional for this type of establishment.

staff, apart from the restaurant staff, messy. At breakfast, there is a noria of waiters running around, makes things very noisy. bar, considering the size of the hotel, is tiny, Viennese like to come and have a drink there, makes things even more difficult for the hotel guests. bar staff is not very attentive for this type of establishment. lobby and reception of the hotel are also very small which sometimes causes traffic jams. doormen don't hold the umbrella for the ladies when it rains to get to the taxi. We have to return the room keys to the concierge each time to get out, sometimes wait to get them back which can be annoying. first few days, maid knocked on the door insisting to make the room to. 8:50 in the morning. The line in front of the café to taste the famous Sacher Torte cake (which is not exceptional in itself to my taste) which sometimes makes you stared at by the customers in line when you enter the hotel.... It may seem like details, which, put together, dissociate a hotel from a palace. the Sacher, because of its price, claims the term "palace", compared to a London palace with similar services, price is not the point.

Our stay at this luxurious hotel exceeded our high expectations. The exclusive amenities made us feel pampered and relaxed. We loved the Spa & wellness center and their massages were amazing. The stunning private facilities and bar/lounge area were perfect for intimate moments. Plus, the location was unbeatable.

Although the service was exceptional, we experienced a minor issue with the continental breakfast. It lacked variety and freshness, which we hope will be improved in the future.

Exceptional hotel. Perfect central location, very nice room, helpful and charming staff without being obsequious. Very complete breakfast. A 5 star hotel on the edge of the palace. Great class. Small attentions, chocolates in the room every day, fresh water, well-stocked mini-bar.

It's chilly in the halls and we had to turn up the temperature in the room. There may be one or two extra blankets missing from the room (but I'm sure that if we ask, there's no problem).

I recently stayed at Hotel Sacher in Vienna for a few nights with my sister. From the moment we arrived, the service was exemplary. The room was carefully designed to maximize comfort, with a stunning view of the Opera House. The extra special treats delivered to our room, like the festive lamb cake and chocolate eggs for Easter, were a delightful touch. The staff, especially Sabrina, were outstanding and genuinely cared about our stay. The Blue Bar and Anna Sacher restaurant were both chic and elegant, with excellent food and an extensive wine list. the staff, location, and accommodations were amazing, making our trip truly memorable.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Excellent location, right in the heart of the city and close to key attractions. Beautifully decorated rooms with comfortable beds and soundproofing for a peaceful stay. Close proximity to everything you need, including restaurants and cafes.

Our room had a poor view initially and did not match the pictures on the website, but the front desk was accommodating and eventually moved us to a better room. Some small issues with the room amenities, such as missing items and a problem with the shower.

I had an amazing experience at Sacher Wien. The value for money was exceptional with elegant room decor and a spacious bathroom. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk to the Opera House. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, especially Sabrina who provided exceptional service. The Blue Bar was chic and the Anna Sacher restaurant served exquisite Easter dinner with a great wine selection.
